Next up head to Haukadalur valley geothermal area approximately 50 mins from Thingvellir National Park. This incredible geothermal region of Geysir, known for its hot springs and geysers. Take in the bubbling pools and steam vents, and see Strokkur, a waterspout that shoots to around 98 feet (30 meters) in the air.
Spectacular Gullfoss Waterfalls
Furtheron, 10 mins from the Geysir drive to the majestic Gullfoss waterfall located on the Hevita River for spectacular views of the untouched forces of nature. Enjoy a nice meal and coffee next to the waterfall at the café before heading back to Reykjavik over 1 hour 50 minutes drive.

This drive will be of approximately 4 hours from Kirkjubæjarklaustur.
End your trip with a relaxing Geothermal spa at Blue Lagoon
Our Travel Engineer recommend visiting the bubbling mud pots at Seltu?n and Lake Kleifarvatn before reaching the world famous Blue Lagoon geothermal Spa over 1 hour drive from Reykjanes. The Blue Lagoon ?s water is rich in silica and blue-green algae, giving the lagoon its reputed healing powers and characteristic milky blue colour.
