Colombo – 1 night

Colombo Arrival
Touchdown the capital city of Colombo over a 3.5 hour flight from Delhi. As you arrive you will be transferred to your luxury stay in the city. Unwind & Relax before stepping out later in the afternoon.

Spend the day at  Mount Lavinia Beach & gamble at a casino
A short drive from the city centre, explore the bustling Mount Lavinia beach lined with pubs and restaurants by the coastline. A gastronomical journey combined with beautiful sunset at Mount Lavinia sets perfect mood to head out straight to a casino later at night. Kandy – 1 night

Stroll by the Kandy Lake & enjoy the colourful markets
After a hearty breakfast at your hotel, today you will set out for a 3.5 hour drive to the home to tea plantation and rainforest Kandy. After an early afternoon check in spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Kandy is the second largest town in Sri Lanka surrounded by mountains. Head straight to the Big Buddha temple for spectacular views of the city or simply explore the colourful markets around the city. Later in the evening take a refreshing stroll along the Kandy Lake.

Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic
Next morning you will start early to visit the city’s most important Temple of the Tooth Relic located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha.

Nuwra Eliya – 1 night

Unwind & Relax
After a early morning visit to the temple you will embark your journey up into the city in tea hill country Nuwara Eliya also known as ‘Little England’ over a 2.5 hour drive from Kandy. Nuwara Eliya, a former British Hill Station. Enroute to your luxury hotel/bungalow you could visit a Tea estate admiring crisscrossed tea trails and learn about how tea is grown and processed.

Unwind and relax the rest of the day under the shade of whistlisting pines overlooking emerald green hills and exploring the tea trails winding upto the secret hilltop viewpoints.

Ella- 2 nights

Take one of the world’s most scenic train journey
Today will be a highlight of your trip as you get aboard a railway carriage for an awe-inspiring journey along Nuwars Eliya to Demodratake (Ella) over a 3-4 hour journey. One of Asia’s most scenic train journeys tunnelling through hills, weaving around tea estates and skirting misty cloud forest this journey is absolutely breath-taking.

Note: If you don’t want to miss the entire scenic route,you could also opt to take the scenic train directly from Kandy – Ella over 7 hour journey with an optional break en-route in Nuwra Eliya or Hatton. The journey is long and slow through mountain ranges hence a break is always recommended.

Walk along the rails at the Nine Arch Bridge
Upon arriving Ella absorb the beauty surrounding you. When in Ella don’t miss the opportunity to walk along the rails at the world-famous Nine Arch bridge is located just outside of Ella Town.A small 30 minute walk through the woods, brings you to this architectural delight hidden between lush green tea fields.

Take a refreshing shower at Ravana Falls & indulge in laidback cafes
The weather in Ella is usually semi warm & breezy afternoons and cool evenings. Escape the warm afternoons with refreshing cool shower at the famous Ravana Falls just 10 mins from the centre or indulge in easy laidback cafes and bistros in the city. Travel Engineers recommend exploring Café chill!

Galle – 2 nights

Explore the Dutch Fort
Today you will transfer down the hills and travel to the gorgeous coast side Galle over a 3 hour drive. As you arrive your hotel, refresh yourself and head out to the beautiful Galle Dutch Fort. Enjoy wandering around the cobbled lanes and breezy courtyards of the fort now home to bustling cafes, kitschy shops and boutique hotels with Colonial vibe. Just by the fort boundary are viewpoints of stunning sunsets by the sea.

Spend a beach day at Unawatuna Beach

Balapitiya – 2 nights

Unwind and Relax by the beach
Today morning you will embark a 1 hour drive for the final leg of your journey where you can enjoy some relaxation time by a beautiful beach. This beach side location is all about peace and tranquillity, so sit back and relax and watch the waves crash against the golden sand.

Colombo 1 night

Enjoy 2 nights of being by the coast before ending your trip and returning back to Colombo over a 2 hour drive.
